Day 256 If I Can’t See You, You Can’t See Me

There are some little kids who are of the notion that if they can’t see you, you can’t see them. In essence this is the idea behind peek-a-boo. Today, I had a phone interview in which I couldn’t see the other person. It’s awkward trying to get a read on how that person is feeling, when you can’t actually see. It’s also awkward when you are a person who talks with their hands. If I’m using my non-verbal forms of communication and you can’t see then it’s a lot less helpful for emphasizing my point. Just as how right now you can’t see what I’m doing while writing this (I’m really just sitting down and typing… honestly).
