Today I was watching some college football, and there was inevitably a discussion about the character of the players involved. Specifically comparing their off-field character to certain standards. There was an interesting quote that true champions aren’t just champions on the field but off the field. Being a champion, doesn’t necessarily mean winning, but if it did what does winning in life mean? This is where it’s important to understand why it’s about the process not the outcome. If you can claim that you do your best every day then you’re a champion of life. There aren’t winners and losers there are just those who gave it their all and those who make excuses.
