Day 170 Drinking Habits

Bottles, Cans, Mugs, Cups, Glasses, Flasks, Jars, Skins, and all kinds of other options are the things we drink out of. Now most people don’t really consider the things that they drink out of, although I’m not sure what that says about them (you worry about what people do to your food but not to your drink?). Anyway, I find this an interesting topic because so many people really have specific habits. Most people don’t drink coffee in a glass, after all it is a cup of coffee or a mug or a thermos. Then you have that lovely drink people refer to by hundreds of different names such as pop, cola, Coke, soda, etc. It comes in cans and bottles and such, but then you can also have it poured in a glass or a cup. Or if you are having root beer… then sometimes you get it in a frozen mug. Sometimes you drink it with a straw, sometimes you put in on ice cream. Yet at the end of the day, people tend to have their preferred choice or maybe it’s choices. What you drink at home and what you take with you to work/school might be two different things. Even still, who knew drinking was so complicated?
